Q Is there a minimum contract ie 12 months?
A There is no contract with rentacart. You can host your shop with us for as little or as long as you like.

Q Is there a limit to the number of products i can sell?
A No limits! You can add as many products as you have for sale, so long as you dont go over your allocated webspace.

Q What payments can I accept?
A We set the cart up to accept many different payment gateways. If you need a different payment gateway that we dont list as installed eg (2cout, WorldPay, HSBC) we can do that for you just let us know first.

Q Can anyone just log in to my website and buy items?
A Any person in the world can use your shop, with so many different payment modules avalible even people in your local town can buy your products. This service is perfect for Small Business, Market Traders, Car Booters & even eBayers.

Q Does the price include a domain name?
A Yes it does! Choose from .co.uk, .com .org .net .info .org.uk or me.uk.

Q Is there any hidden bandwidth charges?
A No there is not, We give all our members a massive limit each month as standard. Please see our packages for details.

Q Will my website be submitted to the main search engines?
A We don't advertise your site for you thats up to you. But on our members website we have free site submit software you can download. It lets you submit your url to 66 search engines including google & MSN.

Q I have my own domain name registered, do I just transfer to you?
A Your domain name can be transferred (free of charge) to our web server. We will give you our DNS setting so you can change it from your domain control panel.

Q Will this package allow me to have a fully developed eCommerce site?
A Yes our hosting package does everything. You would have your very own fully working online shop. All you need to do is add your categories and your products and you can start trading. Your site will be ready to start accepting Paypal and Nochex payments, all you need to do is log into your admin area and update the Paypal or Nochex email address. You could also accept cheques / postal orders, HSBC, Worldpay, and many other payment gateways all at the same time.

Q Do you offer email support?
A We offer full support.Thats before, during and after your purchase.

Q: Is the shop fully transferable to another host if needed?
A: Once we have built the site on your webspace for you we hand it over its yours! You can download the shop from your webspace and place it on another hosting account. You will however need to set up new MySQL database to use it.

Q: How many templates are available for this cart, and will i be able to change the colour schemes myself?
A: There are many different templates available on the internet for your cart. Prices range from free to £150. You could even decide to design your own. You can upload as many different templates you like using any FTP Client. We give you a choice of about 35 different colours to choose from and we will change it for you any time you want. (for free of course)

Q: So if i pay a £39.99 or £54.99 initial payment, i have nothing to pay for a whole year?
A: That’s right! We dont hide any fees.

Q: Hi I have my own site name on an existing site (non-eCommerce) can I transfer that name to new website?
A: Of course you can... We offer free transfers to and from our servers. All you would need to do is login to your domain account and change the name servers over to ours.
